We will be organising our first ever Sean Nos Dancing Workshop at the Carlow Fleadh Ceoil, LeighlinBridge on Saturday, April 12th, 2008 in the Parish Centre from 2pm to 5pm. Our featured sean nos instructor will be the acclaimed Oireachtas na hEireann Champion Sean-nos dancer, Mairtin Sheanin Mac Donncha, from Gaeltacht na Mi, Rath Cairn.

Due to popular demand, a  6 Week Course in SEAN  NÓS  DANCING is being organised in Carlow.  Commencing at 8:30pm on Tuesday, 1st April and for six consecutive Tuesdays the Sean Nós Classes will be held in Bennekerry/Palatine GAA Clubhouse.   Dance tutors will be Mick  Mulkerrin  and  Deirdre   Tobin.  A céad  míle  fáilte is extended to beginners as well as to experts in the field of  sean nós dancing. 
Sean Nós dancing is tradional to the gaeltacht areas  and is performed individually as distinct from the popular set dancing which is performed by a group of eight.
